Potato is one such vegetable which easily blends with the flavors. So chef Ruchi decided to add Tangy and Spicy flavour to the potatoes. With a deadly combination of Tamarind and Chilli, this recipe is yummy and delicious Tamarind Chilli Potatoes, its easy to make and you can treat it as a snack/ starter ot sabji. Ingredients:
- Oil
- 2 Diced boiled Potatoes
- 2 Chillies
- 1tsp Ajwain seeds
- 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
- Few Curry Leaves
- 1 chopped Onions
- 1 tsp Finely chopped garlic
- 2 tbsp Tamarind Juice
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- Salt
- Coriander Leaves
- 2 Spring Onions
Method:
- Heat the oil, add some potatoes and cook them until they catch some color
- Cut the chillies in small pieces
- Place the shallow fried potatoes on kitchen towel, to get rid of excess oil
- In the pan add ajwain seeds, cashewnuts, curry leaves, onions, finely chopped garlic,tamarind juice, sugar, he chopped red chillies,salt,shallow fried potatoes coriander leaves and spring onions
